The Cost of our Security And Maintenance Plan

March 5, 2015

When I tell customers about our Security And Maintenance (SAM) plan, they often compare the cost to the cost of security software. That’s like comparing high performance sports car to a minivan. Yes, the SAM plan does include security software. But it includes so MUCH more.

The security software you get as part of the SAM plan is the same top-of-the-line security used by corporations. It’s not the same that you purchase at a local store. And it’s monitored security. That means that the security software we would have on your computer would be in communication with our server and will alert us to any potential security issues so they can be addressed immediately. We would take care of your security so you don’t have to worry about it.

One thing that is nice about this is that you won’t have to worry about purchasing or renewing security software anymore. You won’t have to worry about when your security software is going to expire. And you don’t have to worry about whether or not your security software is working.

In addition to security, the SAM plan also includes the installation a small piece of software on your computer that monitors the health of your computer and alerts us to any problems or potential problems, often before they cause downtime.

Also included with the SAM plan are maintenance and updates. We will keep your computer maintained and up-to-date. You won’t have to worry about updating Windows. You won’t have to worry about updates to Adobe Reader, Adobe Flash, Java, and the like.

More than just maintaining your computer, we will keep your computer running as fast as it can. If at any time you feel your computer isn’t running as well as it should, just contact us and we’ll do a free tune-up.

That’s a lot of value in the SAM plan. But wait, there’s more!

The SAM plan also provides an insurance policy that we call our No Infection Guarantee. It’s unlikely that a computer covered under the SAM plan will become infected, but it is possible since there is no 100% guaranteed way to prevent infections. But when your computer is covered by the SAM plan, you don’t have to worry because if your computer does become infected, we will clean it off and get it back in working condition for FREE! That’s right. Free!

And for any other remote support you might need, we go a step farther and give you a discounted rate on all remote support on any computer covered by the SAM plan. Instead of $80/hour, you’ll pay only $60/hour for remote service. That’s a 25% discount!

The goal of the SAM plan is to keep your computer safe and to maintain your computer so you can just enjoy using your computer without having to worry about it.

To understand what the SAM plan would mean for you and for your computer, think about it like this. Imagine if you could sign up for a service that would take care of your car. At night when you are sleeping, someone would fill it with gas, wash it, add oil if it needs it, fix any problems, and keep it running tip-top so that you don’t have to worry about it. Your car is always ready to go and working great when you need it or even if you just want to go for a Sunday drive. That’s what the goal of the SAM plan is for your computer.

In a nutshell, you get:

  1. Top-of-the-line worry-free Monitored Security.
  2. Health monitoring.
  3. We keep your computer up to date.
  4. We maintain your computer for you.
  5. We keep your computer running as fast as it can.
  6. No infection guarantee with free infection removal.
  7. Discounted remote support

All of that for only $20/month for each computer.

Now that’s value!

  1. Drew! I cannot IMAGINE life without the SAM program. I think I was one of your first to sign up, and I have never regretted it for a moment; all the service needed is carried out efficiently and I’ve not had any problems you couldn’t take care of, ever since I started. I will gladly toot your horn, anytime! Thanks! Linda
